Patient Guide

APPOINTMENTS AND WALK- PATIENT VISITS

Patients are encouraged to make appointments for any dental services. Having an appointment enables us to have your chart available at the time of your visit, allows the dental practitioner to review clinical information prior to your visit, and gives the staff an opportunity to properly schedule your visit.

Due to health and safety reasons, walk-ins are strictly not allowed and no one will be permitted to enter without a confirmed appointment.

Every effort will be made to see patients with appointments within 30 to 45 minutes of the appointment time. However – dental emergencies, difficult cases, and complicated procedures can cause delays.

About Your Appointment

We want to provide all of our patients with good customer service while making sure that each receives the dental attention they need. The following tips will help us help you while also ensuring that we can help others as well.

Arrive Early

Plan on arriving 10 minutes before your appointment to create or update your medical records and contact information.

What to Bring

Please bring the following:

  • Forms of identification (MyKad or MyKid or iKad or passport).
  • A list of current medications including the dosage or bring the actual prescription bottles.

Accompanying Person

To ensure a smooth and comfortable visit, we kindly ask:

  • Only ONE (1) ADULT accompanies patient/s under 18 or per family.
  • Adult patients attend their appointments alone.
  • Please avoid bringing sibling/s to the appointment unless absolutely necessary, as the time reserved specifically for the scheduled patient.

This policy helps us:

  • Maintain Health and Safety: Reducing the number of people in the clinic minimizes the risk of spreading germs.
  • Provide Focused Care: Fewer distractions allow our team to give full attention to the patient.
  • Create a Calm Environment for Kids: A quiet setting helps children feel more relaxed and comfortable.
  • Ensure Efficiency: Limiting additional visitors keeps appointments running on time.
  • Optimize Space and Comfort: A less crowded clinic ensures everyone feels at ease.

We appreciate your understanding and kind cooperation.

Late Arrival

A patient is considered late when he or she arrives after their scheduled appointment time.
If you are running late, please call the practice at 03-7732 7714 or text as soon as possible to let us know. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may ask you to reschedule or will let you know that we will try to work you in as available but that other patients who have arrived on time for their appointments may see the dentist first.

Please note that new patients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early in order to complete new-patient forms.

Appointment Cancellations

It is important that you call/ text to cancel an appointment if you are unable to keep it. In order to schedule appointments properly, we encourage patients to notify us at least 24 hours in advance if they find that they cannot keep a scheduled appointment. Any advance notice of a cancellation will be helpful.
